Privacy Policy of CDC POLIJE Application

Thank you for using the CDC POLIJE mobile application ("Application"), managed by the Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) for Career and Alumni Development (CDC) of Politeknik Negeri Jember ("We", "Us", "Our"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use our Application.

We are committed to protecting the privacy of our alumni, corporate partners, and other users. By registering or using this Application, you consent to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect

Based on our code analysis, your Application collects various types of data to perform its functions as a tracer study and career center platform.

A. Data You Provide Directly:

• Account Registration Information: When you register (as Alumni or Partner), we collect basic data such as:
  • Full Name
  • Email Address
  • Phone Number (WhatsApp)
  • Password
  • Student Identification Number (NIM)
  • Graduation Year and Study Program (Prodi)
• Complete Alumni Profile Data: To complete your profile, we collect more detailed data, including:
  • National Identity Number (NIK)
  • Taxpayer Identification Number (NPWP)
  • Full Address (Province, Regency/City)
  • Graduation Date, GPA
  • Education History
  • Employment History
  • Social Media Links (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook)
  • Profile Photo (Avatar)
• Questionnaire Data (Tracer Study): When you fill out the tracer study questionnaire, we collect your answers related to:
  • Employment status (working, entrepreneur, further study, etc.)
  • Company data (name, address)
  • Job suitability with your field of study
  • Job search methods
  • Salary/income information
  • And other data relevant for tracer study purposes.
• Job Application Data: When you apply for a job vacancy through the Application, we may collect the documents you upload, such as:
  • Curriculum Vitae (CV)
  • Cover Letter
• Corporate Partner Data: For partners who register, we collect:
  • Company Name
  • Company Address
  • Contact Email and Phone Number
  • Company Logo and Description

B. Data Collected Automatically:

• Usage Data: We may collect information about how you access and use the Application, such as your interactions with features, viewed vacancies, and activity logs.
• Device Data: We may collect basic information about your mobile device, such as the device model, operating system, and unique device identifiers for analytics and notification delivery purposes.

2. How We Use Your Information

The information we collect is used for the following purposes:

• Authentication and Account Management: To verify your identity, manage your account, and allow you to log in to the Application.
• Conducting Tracer Studies: The primary purpose of this application is to collect and analyze alumni data for accreditation and educational quality improvement at Politeknik Negeri Jember.
• Providing Career Services: Displaying relevant job vacancies from corporate partners.
• Processing Job Applications: Forwarding your application data and documents to the corporate partners you are applying to.
• Communication: Sending you important notifications related to your account (email verification, password reset), job vacancy notifications, news, and announcements from CDC POLIJE via email, WhatsApp, or application push notifications.
• Reporting and Analysis: Generating combined (aggregate) and anonymous statistical reports from tracer study data for POLIJE's internal needs and external reporting (e.g., to DIKTI).

3. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties. We only share your information in the following situations:

• To Corporate Partners (Mitra): When you actively apply for a job vacancy, your profile information and supporting documents (CV, etc.) will be shared with that company for the recruitment process.
• To CDC and Study Program (Prodi) Admins: CDC admins and relevant Study Program admins have access to alumni data and tracer study results for analysis, reporting, and verification purposes.
• For Legal Compliance: If required by law or valid legal process, we may disclose your information to law enforcement authorities.

4. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information. Your code indicates the use of:

• Password Encryption: Your passwords are stored in a hashed format.
• Token-Based Authentication (Sanctum): API access from the mobile application is protected by secure authentication tokens to prevent unauthorized access.

However, no data transmission or storage system is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of your data.

5. Application Permissions

To function correctly, our mobile application may request the following permissions on your device:

• INTERNET / NETWORK: Required to connect to our server (cdc.polije.ac.id) and retrieve data (vacancies, news, profiles, etc.).
• STORAGE (Read/Write): Required to allow you to upload a profile photo, CV, or application documents from your device.
• NOTIFICATIONS: Required so we can send you push notifications about application status, new vacancies, or important announcements.

6. Your Rights

You have control over your personal information. You can access and update your profile data, education history, and employment history at any time through the "Profile" menu within the Application.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and within the Application.
